Are you working with a CFP® professional?
It's gotta be a CFP®
Certified Financial Planners must follow the 7-step Financial Planning Process to meet the CFP® Board’s new Code and Standards.
Step 1: Getting to Know You
We'll start with an in-depth conversation about your life, values, and finances. I'll ask questions to understand your current situation, your concerns, and what matters most to you. This helps me get a clear picture of where you are now.
1/7

I believe in taking a structured approach to financial planning that prioritizes your goals and needs. My process, designed in accordance with CFP® Board standards and my CFP certification, is tailored to each client and follows a proven framework for financial success.
We'll start with an in-depth conversation about your life, values, and finances. I'll ask questions to understand your current situation, your concerns, and what matters most to you. This helps me get a clear picture of where you are now.
Together, we'll discuss your dreams and aspirations. Whether it's buying a home, saving for your children's education, or planning for retirement, we'll identify what's most important to you. We'll prioritize these goals and ensure they're realistic and achievable.
We'll take a close look at your current financial habits and decisions. I'll analyze whether your current approach is likely to lead you to financial success or if we need to consider some changes.
Based on what we've learned, I'll develop personalized recommendations designed to help you reach your goals. These might include strategies for saving, investing, managing risk, or planning for taxes and estate matters.
I'll walk you through my recommendations, explaining the reasoning behind each one. We'll discuss how these strategies work together to support your goals and how they fit with your personal circumstances.
Once you're comfortable with the plan, we'll start implementing it. I'll guide you through each step, whether it's opening new accounts, adjusting your investments, or updating your insurance coverage. We'll work together to make sure everything is set up correctly.
Financial planning is an ongoing process. We'll schedule regular check-ins to review your progress and ensure you're staying on course. If there are any significant changes in your life or in the financial markets, we'll adjust your plan as needed to keep you moving toward your goals.
Remember, this is a collaborative process. My job is to provide expert guidance and support, but you're always in control. We'll work together at every step to ensure your financial plan truly reflects your needs and aspirations.

Take the first step toward your financial future today—together, we can create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and dreams. Don’t wait any longer; let’s turn your aspirations into actionable steps for success!
